June 2022: just bought new Mac Book Air, ( it has NO USB (BIG connector) on it - only "C" connector. - does anyone have (positive) experience
with the Apple Brand """" USB-C to USB Adapter """ ($19 from Apple Store) ? 2nd question: - does anyone have positive (or any) experience with "Hyper" brand "Duo 7-2" multiport adapter
You do know this is an Arduino forum, right?
I have a few of those and they work as advertised
My advice though would be to get a USB C to USB (and a host of other features) adapter. You'll get a few USB 2 ports and you'll get separation from your Mac in case you do something bad with the USB cable (better burn the hub than blew off the USB C port of the Mac)
I don't know the "Hyper" brand "Duo 7-2" multiport adapter" - seems it requires two USB C port... I've a few from Satechi and they work OK, probably worth reading the comments on Amazon before buying a unit.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your HELPFUL and Informative e-mail!
Sincerely, Bill & May
