Apple MacBook Pro late 2016 with usb-c, can't connect Genuino MKR1000

I got an MKR1000 and tried to connect it to my macbook via a USB-C to USB-A adapter but the device is not found.

And this is not the regular usb driver problem as on later versions of OSX since I have already solved that and can run all my other arduino devices on my computer.

Found very little about this problem on Google…

Any clues?

Same problem... If you found something

I've just tried with your setup (MacBook Pro late 2016 - Sierra)with a standard Apple Dongle USB-c -> USB and it works.

quick double tap works?

have you tried on another computer?
thanks
