Ardiuno Processor

I am new to this but need the Inclinometer project to work for me.

I connect the USB cable and try to upoad some LED's flash but I get an error "Uploading Error"
I have connected the processor board - but no green LED. With switch in OFF or ON position
Bootstrap ? Cannot do this.

Really need some help.

Thanks

Really need some detail

Please do this:

  • File > Preferences > Show verbose output during: > compilation (uncheck) > upload (check) > OK
  • Sketch > Upload
  • After the upload fails you’ll see a button on the right side of the orange bar “Copy error messages”. Click that button.
  • Paste the error messages in a reply here USING CODE TAGS (</> button on the toolbar).

Some questions

Which "inclinometer project"?
Which operating system.
Which IDE version?
Which Arduino are you using?

What does Windows device manager (or Linux/Mac equivalents) say when you connect and disconnect the board?

Which switch are you referring to? Arduinos usually don't have a switch, only a reset button.

Without knowing the board, most Arduinos (maybe all) have a power led. If that does not come on when you connect the board to the PC, you have either a broken board or a faulty USB cable.

Thank you for the reply here are the boards:-

TinyDuino Processor ASM2001-R-L
TinyShield USB ASD2101 R
TinyShield 7 Segment Display ASD2421-R
TinyShield Accelerometer ASD2511-R

Windows 7 professional pc 64 bit operating system

I would like to use the USB to power the system at present so should switch on processor be ON or OFF

and this is what I am trying to make

avrdude done. Thank you.

Problem uploading to board. See http://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Troubleshooting#upload for suggestions.

Your board is not an Uno.

According to step 6 in TinyDuino - TinyCircuits, you need to select Arduino Pro or Pro Mini.

Next select the 3.3V / 8MHz 328P under tools -> processor.

Thanks so much

All Working

Brilliant !
