I had to resort to using this portable version because it is going to be on several windows laptops used by student network accounts. The problem I am running into now is that while (as it appears) admin accounts can open the program fine, but when a student account opens the program two errors show
First is says c:(path to folder).. package_index.json.sig (access is denied)
then the second says
a package idnex has an invalid signature and needs to be updated. Please open the board mamanager from the menu to update it
I don't understand what is happening other than maybe for some reason students need a specific type of access to the folder in windows housing these files.
can anyone help?
