Arduino 1.0.5-r2 Windows 8.1 problem installing arduino-tiny

Hi,

A fresh installation of Arduino 1.0.5-r2 on Windows 8.1. I downloaded arduino-tiny-0100-0018.zip from Google Code Archive - Long-term storage for Google Code Project Hosting. and extracts it into the hardware directory. I then rename "Prospective Boards.txt" to boards.txt, which results in the file hardware/tiny/boards.txt.

All above with the Arduino software not running. However, upon start up, there is no attiny entries in "Tools" -> "Board". What am I doing wrong??? :~

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks for the answer! :slight_smile:

My first post contained an error, the tiny directory is in the hardware directory, besides arduino and tools.
The boards.txt file is located in hardware/tiny/boards.txt.
