Arduino-1.0 not running :(

Hello Everyone,

First of all let me tell you that iam beginner so iam completely blank about arduino...

I downloaded Arduino-1.0 (for windows) from the official site of arduino,Unzipped it......

when i click on the icon..the following error pops up from java virtual machine launcher

"could not find the main class: processing.app.Base .Program will Exit"

Please HELP!!!!!!!!

IAM USING WINDOWS 7 32 BIT

I suggest you download and try Arduino 022. Arduino 1.0 seems to have alot of bugs and I would wait until they get them worked out.

Still the same Problem

Error :

could not find the main class: processing.app.Base .Program will Exit"

i installed arduino 1.0 on my Desktop computer running windonws XP,the program Opens there but................The example Programs cannot be uploaded :frowning:

Please help me with this

When i click on the arduino icon,after extracting arduino 1.0 this screen opens for 2 seconds

then i recieve this window

Did you try running arduino 1.0 from the same folder where you unZipped them ?

Use explorer and double click on the Arduino 1.zip folder, the you should see all of the folders in the ZIPPED file.
Now double click on the Arduino1.exe file......it should run from here.....

It sounds like the download didn't get unzipped properly. Do you have multiple sub-folders of the main Arduino folder?

I would recommend you try 1.0, I don't think this is a 1.0-specific problem.
