Arduino 2560 Input Module?

Hi Everyone!

Is there such a thing as an input module for the Arduino?

What I'm looking for is a module with binding posts to run inputs into the Arduino with current limiting resistors and pulldowns. I looked on a few places, and there are modules for everything with the exception of something to protect the inputs of the Arduino.

I could make a circuit board, but if there is a module, or some other quick and easy way to limit the
current as well as pull the inputs down that would be fantastic!

Thanks in advance!!!

Dana

Look at some of the PLC input modules on DIN rail. I'm positive that I've seen them for both the Uno and the Mega.

Hmmm. Not finding them now but I'm positive I came across a few terminal blocks with resistors (no pull downs though) a couple months ago.

Can you use one of these? They have optically isolated inputs and FET or relay outputs: Arduino 10MR & 10MT PLC modules | Cedar Lake Instruments

Wow. That is really interesting!
