Arduino 33IOT and Gravity Turbidity Sensor

Hello

So how to use Nano 33IOT (Operating Voltage 3.3V )
with Gravity Analog Turbidity Sensor for Arduino ?

turbidity sensor

  • Operating Voltage: 5V DC
  1. Will it work given that i am using a 3.7V Lithium Ion Battery to Power the 33IOT ?
and in this case, we need not enable the VUSB pin ( there are two pads that must be connected. The pads are located on the bottom of the board, next to the VUSB pin: )

  2. It should work, in theory , if i supply 5V from USB. But to enable the VUSB pin there are two pads that must be connected. ( The pads are located on the bottom of the board, next to the VUSB pin: )

either case , ( 3.7V battery or 5V from USB ) we still need a logic converter ?
Thanks

The turbidity sensor will work at voltages lower than 5V, but not well.

However, you must never apply voltages greater than 3.3V to any input on a 3.3V processor, which is possible if you attempt to power the turbidity meter with 3.7V.

The calibration curve for the turbidity meter shown on the Gravity product wiki is complete nonsense, so you should probably look at other turbidity sensors.
