Hi All, I have a Uno R4 Minima and genuine Arduino 4 Relay Shield. The relay shield pins are really really long and the board isn't fully seating all the way down on the Uno female terminal block like I expected it to. It's definitely bottoming out when I mount and slide the shield into the Uno.
Is this 2mm gap normal? I don't want to push any harder for fear of damage.
It's definitely bottoming out and making contact. I've been using the relays so it all works.
The pins are too long though. I have some 90 degree header strips that are only 5mm long and seat tight with good contact.
Just seemed a bit odd to me that 2 genuine Arduino products designed to mount on top of each other doesn't seat all the way down, so thought I was missing something.
I guess that's just how it is. The relay shield is very solid when mounted on the Uno. There is no way it will vibrate loose etc.
