Arduino 443mhz pir sensor

I have the following three products:

I would like the receive the signal of the PIR on the arduino. The signal is encoded via een PT2262 pic. My elecktronics knowledge is extremely limited but luckily someone wrote an library ( http://code.google.com/p/rc-switch/) that does all this. Unfourtunatly I dont have a multimeter or osciloscope, this makes it extra hard to troubleshoot.

I use the following code:

This should atleast display something on my serial output. Unfourtunatly this does not happen. How and where do I start? I have another transmitter also PT2262. I only have six jumpers (didnt get any more) but each transmitter has 12 pin headers that can be set to high or low with the jumpers. I played a bit arround with it but nothing happend. The receiver has two data outputs. One of those is connected to the digital pin 2.
