I want to take video from a NES, Super Nintendo, etc... which uses A/V cables and display it on my PC. I saw some people made little controllers that just took A/V as input and then sent it to the computer.
Is something like that possible to do with Arduino or with a small electronics project in general? I just want the A/V cables from the Nintendo to go to my project (instead of the back of a TV), and then have the game video and audio to be sent to the PCs monitor and speakers.
Newegg.com sells a little USB device that takes the A/V from a Nintendo and sends it to a PC.
Looking at the item pictures you can see how it works. I would like to build a device like this. I just want mine to have A/V inputs on one side, and USB to plug into the computer on the other.

Why not buy a TV tuner card for your computer? Google HAUPPAUGE. They make many different sorts.

No you wouldn't!
You have nowhere near the skills required. Simple as that.
Just go buy one! It has nothing whatever to do with Arduinox in any case.
OK, just went back over your previous posts. Noted the exploding battery saga.
You will have enough fun just doing Arduino projects; stick to things you can understand and you will get somewhere. It is both humorous and wistful to see fellows coming here with clearly ridiculous proposals that they have conflated with the concept of Arduino.

Paul_B every time you put a new post title in, it appears a new thread .
Interesting. Where are you looking for that? Not in the index for sure, do you mean you are searching my previous posts or some other summary?
