What does the following mean?

Isn't that the sort of thing to ask the nice folks at the Registry in Cham?

I believe that Arduino AG is the company that will handle sales of Arduino branded products in future, not sure if it is new or pre-existing. I guess it is setup in Switzerland because they offer favourable tax conditions.

Few details of the new structure have been released, but there was an official announcement at Two Arduinos become one | Arduino Blog I guess the idea is that for users there will be little change, they will still buy Arduinos from the store or resellers, and get software and support on this website.

I'm not sure what happens to Arduino.org, but already the "online store" link on there redirects to arduino.cc.

Very old "news"

Arduino AG does not exist anymore.
Arduino AG was created "at Banzi Musto reconciliation".

Arduino AG has been recently renamed Arduino SA.

Previously there was an other Arduino SA company which consisted of only one person M Banzi.
This company had been renamed BMCI Labs SA with always one person: M Banzi.
BMCI labs no longer exists under this name, probably to release the name Arduino SA.

The reason is that even renamed, a society, for justice, continues to exist under its creative name.
To re-use a name you have to kill the compagny.
BMCI labs must continue under a new name that I do not know.

Musto owned the majority of Arduino AG's shares.
Arduino AG's board of directors had, since the acquisition of Musto shares, four people including two belonging to ARM which suggested that it was ARM who had bought the shares of Musto.

Currently Arduino SA's board of directors only includes 3 people, including only one from ARM.

All these companies are under Swiss law.
