When I open Arduino IDE it asks me too select my sketches folder, after this it dissapears but it is still active when I look at my processes.
If I start it as root there are no problem's, I can compile and upload program's like it should.
On my previous laptop I had the same installation and had no problems.
Installation specs:
Arduino-IDE v1.0.1+dfsg (precise-backports)
Ubuntu 12.04
OpenJDK Java 6+7 Runtime
I didn't find a topic with the same problem yet so I hope anyone can help me.
