Arduino and EEG (brainwave analyzer)

Hey all,

I'm looking to control an EEG with an Arduino, then feeding that information to Max/MSP.

I have a couple of questions:

  1. Has anyone ever done this successfully? What schematics did you use? (I'm on a deadline for school and have seen tons of designs online. I want to make sure that it works)

  2. I bought standard one time use electrodes from a medical surplus store, what do I need to connect to them? (like +5V, ground, etc etc)

  3. Will I need an op-amp for the signal? (I need to read the signal, but I don't want to fry the user or the Arduino :wink: )
