Hi
I have been away for a few years but recently I came back to some Arduino programming. Are there many people these days using ethernet shields for their Arduino projects? I built a major Arduino ethernet system (web site) in 2014/15 that you can find running today at globalthai.co.nz:88 (yes port 88). Most of the functionality is available to review - some things are of course hidden behind a login. There is source code and documentation available to download in the PUBLIC directory on the SD card. (Browse for it.)
Yes, Arduino as a multi-page web server with emails, SD card operations (incl a file explorer), RAM management, file uploads and downloads through browsers, wemo interaction, crawler/hacker management, PIR security, garage door opener, statistical reporting, an API - you name it, I got carried away and implemented a huge tranche of functionality using a 256KB RAM Ethermega card and about 11,000 lines of code.
Happy to provide a little assistance here and there - I expect to be a regular on the forum for at least the next few months.
Cheers
