Arduino and GRBL 1.1 SOFTWARE Setup

Hello,
I am quite new on CNC Router and its software/Firmware like Arduino and GRBL 1.1 SOFTWARE
I am about to get new CNC Router Vevor 8080 tomorrow and want to know how I can set up everything to run.

  1. How can I set up step by step to run this machine ?
  2. I do have a drawing files with extension like DXF, DWG, JPG,pdf, stp, tif etc...
    What file extension required to upload on GRBL software?

As I remember You use GRBL commands for parameters like steps per rev. Try Google on GRBL! I'm sure You'll find more facts there.

You can't send drawing files directly to grbl, it needs gcode which is a standard language for CNC machining. A CAM program can convert drawing files to gcode. You also need a gcode streamer to send commands to grbl. You need to look at the grbl wiki for details.

It should come with assembly and use instructions.
