Hi everybody!
I'm workin for a project concerning Rrfid Tags...I was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to write on these Tags....
Passive Rfid can be written ( read/write mode ) several time...I'm working on interaction between Arduino BT+Parallax reader and Rfid Tags...and i was wondering if this could be done ( i hope so otherwise i'm in big troubles!!! ).
Thanks everyone.

Hi,
I have never worked with RFID stuff but I know that there is a section on it in Tom Igoe's book 'making things talk'! So if you find someone with that book, you'll be able to find out what's possible.(and if the book might help you...)
Regards,
Till
It depends on the type of RFID card. Some you can write on and others you can't. Most of the low frequency type (125 KHz) are read only and usually have a 64 or 128 bit unique code on them. There are some that will allow writing of this code but there is not much storage. For writing more then you have to go to contact less smart cards that work at about 13 MHz. You can get cards with 1, 2 or 4 K bytes of storage However, as RFID tags are use mainly in the security industry a lot of information about them is not widely published.
