Arduino and SSL/TLS

Hi!
I´ve read in a later posts that Arduino´s ATMEGA 8-bit microcontroller isn´t capable to work with SSL/TLS. Is it correct?
Is it possible to make a new Arduino Model with 32 bits AVR microcontroller?

Everything is possible... You just need to find someone interested enough to do it.

So you mean that I can build a board by following the arduino's design specification, but with a different processor?

There are already Arduino-like boards with 32 bit chips. Google Netduino, for instance.
