Arduino and touchscreen

Hello,
I am trying to create a syringe heater with Arduino as the core element. When I connect the Arduino to the screen (gen4-ulcd-32DT-AR) and to the 12V power supply, after a while, the screen starts blinking. What could be the problem?
Thank you

Sorry, you have not provided a schematic, so it's really hard to say.
On the face of it, it sounds like a power problem (like the arduino regulator browning-out).

I assume the 12V is connected to the RAW pin on the arduino.
That display seems to operate at 5V, but needs 170mA. How is the touchscreen powered? From the Arduino 5v VCC pin? If that is the case, you could try an external 5V regulator (like a 7805) for the screen. Or indeed you could perhaps power the whole thing from a 7805.

Please provide a schematic if you need more help.

Thank you.
I enclose the connections of my circuit
