yesterday i was uploading bootloader to atmega328p so for that i uploaded ArduinoISP sketch to my board after 2 mins it cant be detected as serial port. No sound when i plug my arduino in. It cant be detected help is needed. The board is a arduino uno. It is working fine since 2016
Arduino Uno have 2 chips: Atmega328P where bootloader is, and Atmega16u2 where USB converter firmware is flashed and it will on PC "new hardware event" trigger if plugged.
you see you can#t corrupt USB detecting with upload of bootloader. except you used wrong 6-pin connector on Uno board.
