Hello chums,
Im looking into using bluetooth on an upcoming project. I want to know if its possible for 2 arduino's to communicate with each other via serial over bluetooth Without the use of any middle man ( pc etc) doing the relaying . If so, then could anyone recommend a particular bluetooth module or any advice on achieving my goal? Thanks.
What range are you expecting to achieve. Bluetooth is typically pretty short range - 10 meters or less.
Well ive not considered range particularly as i was planning on doing this kip kay hack
Which should extend the range to be at least that of a normal household area.
Just to know if connecting 2 arduinos via bluetooth without them being slaves to a pc is possible would be brilliant for a start.
There should be no reason why this is not possible. I have used a bluetooth module with my Arduio, but I was connecting to a PC. The module I used was called BlueSMiRF
my problem would be how do i identify and pair the arduino's to each other. The only stuff on the net i can find has the pairing be done by a computer.
