I didn't want to spend $10-30 for my Arduino and BBB, and still have a mess of the other components. My solution was in an expired first aid kit off a customers airplane, and some Velcro. Now I can add LCD displays, breadboards, etc. and move them to where I need. When I'm done, unplug power, close the lid, and presto!!! No junk lying around to annoy my wife, and no wires for the cats.
