Arduino Bluetooth Controller

Hey Guys,

I have an Android app named “Arduino BT Joystick”. I wanted to know what output is given via Bluetooth from that app.

So, I wrote a code for my Arduino Mega ADK connected to an HC-06 Module[It is properly connected].

char incomingChar = 0;

void setup()
{
  Serial.begin(9600);
}

void loop()
{
  if(Serial.available()>0)
  {
    incomingChar = Serial.read();

    Serial.print(incomingChar);
  }
}

I paired the HC-06 with the app and started the Serial Monitor, but I get a blank screen even on pressing buttons on the app.

Is my code correct to do the task?

there's a sketch for method 3 you will want to look at http://www.martyncurrey.com/arduino-with-hc-05-bluetooth-module-at-mode/

Have you checked the Android Bluetooth Joystick thread? It is probably the biggest thread on the entire Arduino Forum, and must surely have what you want to know by now. I don't think you need to do anything about bluetooth AT mode, least of all, HC-05 AT mode.

Nick_Pyner,

Can you please post the link of that thread here..????

You see,

I don't have a HC-05. I have only a HC-06
