Arduino+Bluetooth+DC Motor

To all,

I am a beginner at this and I am looking for some guidance on a project I want to take up. What I am looking to do is to control a small DC motor with a Arduino Mini over Bluetooth. I want to make this assembly as small as possible. I will also be looking to create a interface on IOS to control the motor.

Is this possible and if so what recommendations would you have. Any input would be great.

Yes, it is possible. You will need a bluetooth-4 device like the HM-10. Most of your problems will be at the IOS end, so look there first.

What about something like this? It can be controlled by an iOS app on an iPhone.
