Arduino board not working suddenly.

My arduino uno was all fine untill today it got an uploading error of
"avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding"

Only the POWER led and the L led are lit up.Any idea whats wrong???

Yes it is broken.
We have a whole section of the forum for problems like this which you have managed to ignore.
