If someone wanted to learn more about Arduino, can you guys recommend any good books to get started with? I kind of need to start at the basics and work my way up from there. I just don't have much electronics background.

Without a doubt I recommend the Arduino Cookbook. It's very well written and covers a lot of ground, using various circuits that are all well described.

I believe John Boxall has released a beginners book, based on his www.tronixstuff.wordpress.com excellent series of Arduino tutorials.
When getting started with arduino I read "3D Arduino Projects for the Evil Genius" by Simon Monk. I would highly recommend it since it walks you through many different functions of Arduino and explains the boring/necessary stuff quickly and efficiently. Hope this helps
