Arduino-BT failed after uploading Init. Script

just got an Arduino-BT v06 , eveything was ok. I could pair the device with no problem and upload.

My first upload through serial Bluetooth was the default script on your site: "Arduino BT Initialization Sketch"
/* BT test 01

int LED = 13; // select the pin for the LED
int RESET = 7;

void setup() {
pinMode(LED,OUTPUT); // declare the LED's pin as output
pinMode(RESET,OUTPUT); // declare the LED's pin as output
Serial.begin(115200); // connect to the serial port
digitalWrite(RESET, HIGH);
digitalWrite(RESET, LOW);
Serial.println("SET BT PAGEMODE 3 2000 1");
Serial.println("SET BT NAME ARDUINOBT");
Serial.println("SET BT ROLE 0 f 7d00");
Serial.println("SET CONTROL ECHO 0");
Serial.println("SET BT AUTH * 12345");
Serial.println("SET CONTROL ESCAPE - 00 1");
Serial.println("SET CONTROL BAUD 115200,8n1"); //first release 19200

void loop () {
digitalWrite(LED, HIGH);
digitalWrite(LED, LOW);

successfuly uploaded, I even changed the blinking speed and re-uploaded again with no problem. Also powered the device from another "Arduino-Uno".

but after I turned off the Arduino-BT and turned it on again pairing failed. tried several phones to pair with it but no success, in Windows I can see it but pairing fails (even it does not ask for pairing number)

so what happened ? please help this newbie :-X

btw here is the default sketch that i used:

someone please help, if I use a boot-loader, does it return it to previous state ? :-[

I fixed it by connecting the Arduino-BT Serial(TX,RX) port to a Arduino-UNO then uploaded the init BT script to UNO, pressed reset on UNO and voila the correct "Set" commands written to the serial of Arduino-BT then sucessfuly paired and uploaded another test over Bluetooth. works perfect so far :slight_smile:
