Hi.
I've obtained an Arduini Bluetooth shield from Radioshack (v2.2, I guess), and I'm trying to send some signals to it using my Android phone.
I successfully mounted on the Arduino and saw the LED blinking,The problem is: The Bluetooth shield is not detected by my Android phone!
Based on a comment in this link I figured out that I am supposed to put the BT shield in Slave mode, not the Master mode or the Data mode.
The problem is that I don't know how to do that, and I couldn't find any useful instructions for this purpose by searching.
How should I put the BT shield in the Slave mode?
May or may not be the same shield (though v2.2 is a hint), but I have been discovering lots of missing datasheet info about my itead studio v2.2 BT shield:

perhaps something in there will help?
Hi.
The link provides some info but doesn't talk about putting the BT Shield jumper configuration, specially the jumper configuration.
I tried to send AT commands but I didn't received appropriate response from BT shield, it just throws me back the same characters. I guess I'm doing something wrong with the jumpers.
I tried the advice in the link and changed the Baud Rate to 38400, but it didn't change anything.
btw my board has 8x3 jumper pins but the board I saw in the documentations had 6x3 jumper pins! So I don't know which version it is, and it doesn't say anything about it on the cover either.
Judging by your user name, I'm hoping you're using an LG Vortex cell phone. If you are, please see this forum topic:

I'm involved in a discussion about the Seeeduino Bluetooth shield and android 2.2
