Arduino Cellular Boards

Hello, I am looking to purchase an Arduino cellular board in order to build a weather station. However, I'm not sure which one to get.

I don't want to spend a ton of money. I have seen some boards on Arduino, however they are only 2g and saw an article that all 2g networks are going offline.

For doing iot projects with a cellular board, what type of connectivity would be best? 2g? 3g? 4g? But not too expensive.

What do you think?

Thanks!

If you are in the USA, you have no choice. You must buy 4G LTE shield.
There was a post here asking about 2G. There were two recommendations there.

I've neen using (around 100 of them) the TinySine 3G boards (SIM 5320) for a couple of years - no problems.
However, here in Australia, we have about 3-4 years before 3G starts closing down - and I've asked Tim @ TinySine to look into my options before then.
