Arduino - Change background colour of LCD

Hi,
I'm new to using Arduino and can't figure out how to change the background colour of LCD.
Can someone help to guide me since I can't find anything that helps?

We need to know which exact LCD that you have. Post a link to its technical data or to where you bought it.

welcome to the arduino-forum.

There only a few LCDs where you can change the backroundcolor.
Without any specific information about your LCD the "guiding" must stay pretty general as

  • on your invoice or in the online-shop where you have bought the LCD look up the manufactorer and type of your LCD

  • look up the online-shop if the shop offers downloading a datasheet.

  • if it is bought from amazon very often amazon does not offer datasheets or manuals for downloading

  • with manufaturer und type use google and the keywords "datashet" "manual"

  • google with keywords "GitHub" "arduino" "manufacturer" "type" for a search for democodes

  • at least post a picture of your LCD frontside and backside in high.resolution so even small printed letters can be read on the picture.

I will take a SWAG and say change the backlight LED. For a better answer the previous requests for information.
