The Strip then connects to the proper ports of the transistors. Just a quick explanation I have everything grounded too.
Basically I am just curious if this will work. I don't know too much about transistors, and I want to get some feedback before I fry anything with the amount of voltage and amps going through the circuit.
Hi, I think you had better get some more info on the LED strip, it connects to a control box that is capable of various colour patterns.
The strip may be one of the type that has micro controllers on it to control the individual LEDs. That is why it has an IR remote and a main controller box.
Not just three connections for the RGB and a common connection that I think you are expecting.
I could be wrong, but please check with the supplier first.
