Arduino Cloud Build Failing Due to Invalid Character in Path

I get the following error with my MKR 1010 board and the prebuilt sketch:

get location of {runtime.tools.bossac-1.7.0-arduino3.path}: invalid character '\' after top-level value

I am very new. Can anyone help?

we noticed that this behavior can be associated with the Arduino Agent version.
Could you please verify that you are running the last version of it?

y cyrrent version is

1.6.0-46fbb34

I think this is the most recent. Does that make sense?

Yes, it is the latest version. Could you please try to uninstall and reinstall it?

FYI I have seen several reports of failure with 1.6, A school using mostly Macs submitted a report, and I was working with a noob earlier with no luck. I have 1.6 on a Mac, and I think it's good as I registered a few boards a couple of weeks ago. I am not in a position to try it now.
