# Arduino COM port not visible

I am using Arduino UNO since 5 months without facing any problems but today when I connected the arduino via USB cable to my PC, it shows COM port error. When I checked the device manager it doesn't show any Arduino. I am using Windows 10 and using arduino on it from a long time. Also I want to tell you that Arduino lights got lit up as i connect it. On some research on it through internet, I got to know about driver updating but COM3 port(which i use for arduino) is not visible on device manager so how can i update that. Any solutions?
