Arduino connect to Socket.io

Hello. I have a problem, connect arduino Uno with ethernet shield to server. Server is running on node.js and Socket.io. I do not know when my server listen arduino. ethernet shield.

My server code

var server = require('http').Server(app);
var io = require('socket.io')(server);

server.listen(8080);

app.get('/', function (req, res) {
  res.sendfile(__dirname + '/socket.html');
});

app.get('/socket.io.js', function (req, res) {

io.on('connection', function (socket) {
  socket.emit('news', { hello: 'world' });
  socket.on('my other event', function (data) {
    console.log(data);
  });
});

Help me please . . .

Don't you think that posting the Arduino sketch would be a good idea too? You should also describe how your network is set up because that might be the next problem rising up.

What do you think? What communication is better for real time communication ?

I try more examples and i don´t make communication with arduino and node.js server. if you have same experienci with that hepl me please.

It seems you don't understand nice hints: Post the Arduino code and draw scheme of your network!
