I have the arduino uno and the motor control shield. I installed the libraries for the robot and it uploads the code. However, nothing happens when I run the motor test sketch. All hardware is functioning. Any ideas what could be wrong? I have the 4wd configuration of the robot

Arduino Uno and Motor Shield.
All the motors work as I directly attached the leads to the battery. The motorshield light is green when I turn on the power switch. The code complies and uploads to the Arduino Uno but nothing happens. When I upload the Blink sketch and attach an LED to pin 13 and grd it works. When I insert the blink code to the uploaded motortest code it does not blink?
Maybe you should post your code , (using the "#" code tags tool button)
If you've never used the motor shield before maybe you should explain your power connections to shield and arduino (for the motors as well)
