Arduino crash/close before open

Hi everyone,

I am using win11 home edition. When i click the arduino ide it crash befor open. I just can see opening screen and than puff! it goes/closes. I tried everything i could fine but doesn't work. I've tried bunch of versions of arduino ides. Pls help me. thanx.

Have you tried restarting the computer and uninstalling them reinstalling the ide

Which operating system?
which version of the IDE and is this an MSI install, a zip install or a Windows App install?

In Linux (and possibly Mac), start it from a shell.
In Windows, use a command prompt, navigate to the installation directory and run arduino_debug.exe (I'm not sure if you can access it if this is a Windows App install).

Post the output here so we can try to figure out what's going on. No screenshots please, copy and paste from the shell / command prompt.

There is no output. Double click it and starting pic coming out and than close/crash. No sign in task manager about arduino. I tried debug but it comes and goes like ide. I am using win11 home edition.

I've tried that about 20 times :slight_smile: uninstall/reinstall.

Even when you run "arduino_debug" in a command window?

Did I anywhere state "double click"?

Can you answer the questions?

  1. What are the results you get when you run "arduino_debug.exe"
  2. When doing an uninstall ensure that you delete the Arduino15 folder.
