arduino doesnt recognized

hello all

i was trying to build prusa i3 with arduino mega

i installl it and use it some times

i dont know what happend

i my computer doesnt recognize my board anymore ......? :o

is it possible that my board destroyed?????

Often if your board is not recognised the bootloader has been corrupted.
Try re-burning it with another Arduino as ISP.

but when i plug my arduino to pc it doesnt show anything
not even a sound
or com port

Try these things:

  1. New USB cable
  2. Connect to different USB port on your computer
  3. Connect to different computer
  4. Re-flash the ATmega16U2 USB-to-serial chip only if you have no success with the above. IMO this is the easy way: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Restore-the-Arduino-UNO-R3-ATmega16U2-Firmw/
