Arduino Drone

Hello, so here's the idea of a drone in Arduino running through my head for a while already.

I had the idea of making a quadrirotor with an Arduino Nano.

But the questions I ask myself and I can not find the questions are: - How to choose the engines. - Should mandatory brushless motors. - Should the ECS, you can replace them with L298 for PWM. - Should there be servo motors for moving oriantation or manage changing motor speed.

There are lots of Arduino based quadcopters.

If you don't want to purchase a quadcopter with a flight controller then at least copy the motors, props and ESCs used in one of these almost ready to fly kits.

Many of the flight control boards on the ARF quadcopters are Arduino compatible.

DO NOT use a L298 to control quadcopter motors. The ESC used on quadcopters can be controlled with an Arduino just fine. They use the same sort of pulses used to control hobby servos.

I don't know what you mean by the above. How does one use a servo to change motor speeds?
