Arduino Due load timss

Hello,

I have an Arduino due that I am uploading sketches too.

Currently the sketch is 250kb in size and it takes about 50 seconds to load ( is that normal)

What's worse, is it takes about another 30 seconds to verify. I tried turning verifying off in the preferences, but it didn't seem to have an affect. Any ideas?
