Hi I can't seem to find anybody with a similar problem, first off when I connect my Arduino due to my PC with the radds connected through the programming port, the programming port seems to overheat within seconds.
But then powering on the radds 1.5 through a 12v power supply still connected to the Arduino and Arduino still connected to PC, the programming port cools down and a seemingly random spot on the other side of the Arduino board overheats within seconds.
VERY HOT!
on top of that when just connecting due to PC I can upload sketches no problem but it gives me an error no device detected COM9 with radds connected to due.
What is up with my radds 1.5 ?
Device is detected through device manager and the Arduino program sees the programming port no problem, correct drivers installed.
Native port doesn't seem to be seen by my PC
I'm a super moon and have only delt with the stock anet a8 board, please help me

Really thing you should take a good look at THIS and maybe come back with more specific information.
Auto correct I'm a super NOOB not moon. I'm at work and will be back I guess with more info with some codes and pictures but honestly feel like I should be able to get some sort of suggestions on why it could be overheating I mean if you knew what the radds shield 1.5 was, maybe a quick Google search could ring a bell or two, it's similar to a ramps shield, like I said I am very new so will be back with some pictures, won't be a few hours until then if anybody has anything at all That'd be great , just stressful when things don't work out.

Okay so instead of taking pictures and providing more detail I just decided to fix the issue. So I had a faulty stepper motor driver it seemed to be trying to pull power from the prog USB because of it for some reason. So boom all good now if anybody else has a similar issue as my vague discription above check your motor drivers and make sure you turn off power before unplugging/ plugging
