Arduino Due vs ADK for Android dev

Hello all,

I'm looking to do some Android development with Arduino and wondered what the differences are between the Mega ADK and Due as far as this functionality is concerned (I realize that the boards' other specs are quite different). Does the Due's USB host port give it the same compatibility with Android devices as the ADK or does the ADK have additional features for this purpose?

Thanks, Nick

Hi, I have the Arduino Due, and I did the communication between Android and Arduino Due by USB. http://arduino-er.blogspot.com.br/2013/04/read-analog-input-at-arduino-due.html

I think one difference is the Arduino Due, utilize the ADK to communicate, And the ADK board can use the ADB to communicate

Processing + Eclipse + Android + Arduino Due (USB and adk.h)
