Arduino/ easy drivers/ grbl - going down the cnc road. Need someones input.

The universal g code sender recognizes my Arduino and lets me connect to it. However I cannot get my stepper motors to sync with G code sender. My stepper motors act erratic and do not respond to my commands. I will tell you my setup and any input on how I can get my setup to work would be greatly appreciated.

I am using a MacBook Pro with OS X Yosemite.
I flashed my Arduino Uno with “grbl_v0_8c_atmega328p_16mhz_9600.hex” via Hexloader (https://github.com/paulkaplan/HexUpload … exUploader)
I am using Universial G code sender (GitHub - winder/Universal-G-Code-Sender: A cross-platform G-Code sender for GRBL, Smoothieware, TinyG and G2core.)
This is my exact breadboard wiring:Attached.

I am using these stepper motors Lot of 3 Stepper motors NEMA 17-DIY (http://www.ebay.com/itm/121158802114)
With these Easy Drivers: (http://www.ebay.com/itm/3pcs-A3967-Sold … 1608590147?)
This is the power supply, 12v 1a: (http://www.ebay.com/itm/271612243500?_t … EBIDX%3AIT)

( I cleared the arduino with the romclear code many times and re flashed it trying to get it to work)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.

Your diagram is showing 12V power connected to the bottom left corner (GND/+5V) and nothing connected to the upper right corner (Power In).
