Is there going to be, or is there already, an Arduino editor available for the Google Chromebook?

I don't own a computer running ChromeOS so I haven't ever tried it, but I've seen some indications that it is possible to run the Arduino IDE on your computer with a bit of effort:

As an alternative to that approach, there is also an arduino_ide package in chromebrew.
