Arduino error: expected unqualified-id before 'if'

This is my first forum post so please say something if I do this wrong.

I am making a project with the arduino mega 2560 and what I have so far is 2 buttons that turn a servo different directions and a motion sensor that turns on an led. The button/servo part was fine before I added the motion sensor code. Now it gives me the expected unqualified-id before 'if' error when I verify it. I've been trying to find the solution online, but cannot find it. I will provide the code and a screenshot of the error.

Thanks for your time!
Code:

#include <IRremote.h> //Ignor these, most of these libraries will be used later.
#include <RTClib.h>
#include <MFRC522.h>
#include <LiquidCrystal.h>
#include <Keypad.h>
#include <Servo.h>
#include <HCSR04.h>
#include <Stepper.h>
//------------------------------------------------------------------------------------//
Servo servo;

const int sensor = 32; //Motion sensor
const int led = 31; //LED that the motion sensor turns on.

const int OffPin=24; //buttons
const int OnPin=23;
//------------------------------------------------------------------------------------//
void setup() {
servo.attach(22);
servo.write(120);
pinMode(OffPin, OUTPUT);
pinMode(OnPin, OUTPUT);
pinMode(sensor, INPUT); //sensor put as INPUT
pinMode(led, OUTPUT);
}
//------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\
void loop(){

int value = digitalRead(sensor); //value is the state of the motion sensor

if (value == HIGH){ //motion = led on for 2 seconds
digitalWrite(led, HIGH);
delay(2000);
digitalWrite(led, LOW);
}
else {
digitalWrite(led, LOW); //otherwise keep led off
}

if(digitalRead(OffPin)==HIGH){ //all of the code from here to the end worked fine before I added the code above
servo.write(80);
delay(200);
servo.write(120);
}
else if(digitalRead(OnPin)==HIGH){
servo.write(180);
delay(200);
servo.write(120);
delay(200);
servo.write(180);
delay(200);
servo.write(120);
}
else { //if no button is pressed, keep servo in neutral position and run the code again after 10ms
servo.write(120);
delay(10);
}}
//------------------------------------------------------------------------------------//

    digitalWrite(led, LOW;      /

Ooopppps

PerryBebbington:

    digitalWrite(led, LOW;      /

Ooopppps

Sorry, fixed that. But still has the same error.

Show your fixed code. Use code tags this time </>.

Thanks.

FIXED

It was a simple mistake. One of my dashes (//--------------------------------------------//) was written like this:
//------------------------------\
I fixed that and it works like normal again.
