Arduino Ethernet Board: Remote control system

I want a simple Ethernet shield program that will change the state of a pin based on user input. All I want is a button, you click it, it turns on. I want the page hosted on the arduino itself (I know how to do that...) How would I go about with that snipped of code for the button click? I only need it to work once (it would be safely from a distance launching a model rocket), and its OK if I need an Android app do to it, as long as its not bluetooth. I have an Ethernet Shield w./ SD Card. please help

You haven’t said what sort of button you’re thinking of, but I’m sure you will find examples of webserver sketches that serve out a web page with a button in it that can be used to take some action. Having that action be changing an output pin state would be a one line change. All you’d need on the Android device would be a web browser with a network connection to the Arduino.
