I have arduino ethernet shield not works with ethernet switch and same problem like this Ethernet Shield W5100 connection issue - #3 by ba21, but can I solder resistor in wire, instead arduino PCB ?, I am lack of soldering capability
The link suggests soldering resistors between pin 1-2 and 3-6. If you want to open up a LAN cable and do the soldering there, it may work, but that LAN cable is now basically tied to that shield and shouldn't be used elsewhere
Yes, because I can't solder properly, if resistor is connected through LAN cable, I also can use breadboard
