Arduino Ethernet with broadband modem.

How am I supposed to connect an Arduino Ethernet to a broadband modem which doesn’t have Ethernet plug, only USB?

I thing I may buy one of these: http://www.tech-faq.com/usb-to-ethernet-adapter.html

Would it actually work?

Well, unless the modem has built-in support for that adapter, it won't work.

And there is any solution if I want to use the Ethernet on a place without cable Internet?

Your question is: "is there a way to use ethernet that doesn't have an ethernet connection"? That seems to answer itself.

I guess if you have wireless, you could get a Wireless to Ethernet bridge. It connects to WiFi and provides an Ethernet connection. Of course at that point I would wonder why you wouldn't just use a WiFi Shield instead of the Ethernet shield.
