Arduino failure

My arduino isn't getting detected by the clout agents nor the port sniffers by the official IDE.
Does anyone have a way to fix it?
I'm having a hard time trying to connect...
Pls help!

I moved your topic to an appropriate forum category @juhuhhhhgtgyuy556u.

In the future, when creating a topic please take some time to pick the forum category that best suits the subject of your topic. There is an "About the _____ category" topic at the top of each category that explains its purpose.

This is an important part of responsible forum usage, as explained in the "How to get the best out of this forum" guide. The guide contains a lot of other useful information. Please read it.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Hi @juhuhhhhgtgyuy556u. Please add a reply here on this forum topic to tell us which Arduino board you are using.

Please be as specific as possible, as some Arduino boards with similar names have significant differences and the forum helpers can only provide effective assistance if we are aware of which one is being used.

If you aren't sure how to describe which board you are using, you can provide the link to the online product listing you bought the board from and we'll proceed based on the information found there.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by that. Please provide a detailed description of what you mean by this in a reply on this forum topic, including:

  • What did you do?
  • What were the results you expected from doing that thing?
  • What were the results you observed that did not match your expectations?

Make sure to include the full and exact text of any error or warning messages you might have encountered.

I'm not sure I understood correctly what you mean by this. Please provide a more detailed description of what you mean by this in a reply on this forum topic to help us to understand it.

Please avoid the use of non-standard jargon like "port sniffers". You are the only one who knows exactly what that term means, so using leaves the chance that the forum helpers might interpret as meaning something different than what you intended to communicate.

I am using an arduino UNO aka Arduino make your UNO.

I meant bu the port aka the arduino isn't being detected by the device for no reason.

Still too vague. Please make a stronger effort to describe the problem. I guess you think you are saving time by making these vague short posts, but I assure you that is not so.

The people who take the time to provide the helpers here with sufficient information from the start often receive a solution within a matter of minutes. The ones who don't do that might go through days of frustrating back and forth as we struggle to squeeze the information out of them.

The choice of how this will go is yours to make.

If English isn't your first language, you are welcome to compose a detailed description in your native language and then use an automated translation service like Google Translate to translate it to English before posting.

Clout agents?

Pardon my ignorance, but sounds like send in the heavies. Raised a smile, though.

@ptillisch is quite correct. You'll only get answers to the question you ask, word by word.
You need to craft your question to maybe outline the actual problem, then supply detail where necessary.

Your original question is as vague as it gets. Arduino in this context means nothing. Arduino Uno says everything. Better still with something like Arduino Uno R4.

Which operating system are you using?
Is your board detected by the operating system?
Did it work in the past?

Link please.
