Hi, I have acquired the Arduino Uno starter kit and I was wondering if it's possible to create a pedometer/step counter with this microcontroller?
The only real problem though, is I want this to connect to my phone via Bluetooth and transfer/display those steps that pet has done from the Arduino to the phone. Is this possible? Or could I make it even more advanced by having a database within the Arduino, storing those steps that dog makes and when the user is ready to transfer it, they will do so via Bluetooth and make it display on their phone?
I understand the Arduino lacks Bluetooth so I'm going to purchase the JY-MCU transceiver. Also the ADXL337 for the accelerometer.
I am happy to receive any kind of product recommendations if you think the JY-MCU or ADXL isn't compatible with what I want to do.
