arduino GPS GY - GPS6MV2 help

Hello.
I have this device

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Hot-Sale-Ublox-GY-NEO6MV2-GPS-Module-Aircraft-Flight-Controller-For-Arduino-APM-2-5-Free/32228359064.html

I tried with TinyGps library but it doesn't work.
Anybody has a good library for it?
Many thanks

Hmmm... how is it hooked up? Are you getting any data? What Arduino? Serial or SoftSerial? Baud rate?

TinyGPS has been around for quite a while, so it's probably not the problem. We'll need more info to help you.

Cheers,
/dev

I have used this with tinygps

Its a fairly standard GPS

Its default baud rate in 9600

Make sure you cross the tx / rx i.e.

Arduino Tx to GPS RX
RX to GPS TX

Also don't forget to link the grounds...

thanks to all
i used tinygps at 9600 baud rate
i have correct link rx and tx and ground
i received

Simple TinyGPS library v. 12

I'd say it's not getting a fix. It thinks the date is June 1, 1980, so it hasn't received any signal from any GPS satellite. It should get the correct time before it gets a location.

Does the ceramic antenna look ok? Is the antenna cable fully secured? Have you tried it outside? It may take 10-20 minutes for the first fix.

thanks again
i tried outside but only for 1 minute
did you said 10-20 minutes? maybe secconds , i think is too long 10-20 minutes to get some data from sattelite
many thanks again.

Yes, 10 - 20 minutes to get a first time fix. After that it should be quicker.
